We help families navigate the paperwork, tax implications, and appraisal process for a conservation easement. Thirty-four easements completed to date, covering 22,400 acres.

Program 02
Forestry Management Plans
A certified forester on staff develops ten-year management plans for member families. Selective harvest, invasive species control, regeneration planning.
Program 03
Tax Hardship Fund
Small grants and zero-interest loans to families facing property tax delinquency on forested land. Twelve families helped last year, no forced sales.
Program 04
Heir Planning Workshops
Free quarterly workshops on intergenerational transfer of forest land, with attorneys and estate planners presenting pro bono.
